Wine Degrees Featured on WVIZ/PBS Sunday Ideas

Segment focuses on academic program, wine label and partnerships with vineyards

The Kent State University at Ashtabula Viticulture and Enology programs were recently highlighted by WVIZ/PBS-TV’s weekly Ideas Sunday program on April 14, 2019.  The segment focused on the academic programs, students, faculty and area wineries and vineyards that host student practicum experiences. 

The segment was produced by Lisa Ryan and included interviews with program faculty member Ed Trebets, Senior Special Assistant for Academic Affairs Lori Lee, and Kim Laurello of Laurello Vineyards, who partnered with the school to produce the Kent State Ashtabula Wines label.
