In a partnership with the Kent State Athletics Department, Sibling Revelry Brewing (SRB) has created a custom Kent State Golden Lager - the official craft beer of Kent State Athletics.
Familiar, yet subtly robust, Golden Lager was brewed to be easy drinking, crisp and accessible and is sure to become a new staple in the way fans can celebrate and support their teams. Cans will be for sale at most point-of-sale concession stands that serve alcoholic beverages on Kent State's campus.
"It's an exciting time to partner with Sibling Revelry as the official craft beer of Kent State athletics," Kent State Director of Athletics Randale L. Richmond said. "The fact that the co-owners are part of the Flash Family as Kent State alumni and are based in Ohio made the deal even more special. Their commitment to seeing this partnership be successful also shows in the time and care they placed in the branding and messaging of the lager."
The beer will be featured at locations throughout Kent State's campus to support athletic events, as well as in bars, restaurants, and other retailers around Kent and Northeast Ohio. As the "Official Craft Beer of Kent State Athletics," the collaboration serves as a unique and exciting way to elevate both brands in the Cleveland-Akron-Canton market.
The beer comes packaged in 12-ounce cans sold individually as well as in six-packs that fans will be able to find at Greater Cleveland grocery and beverage stores this fall.
