Introduction to Climbing Clinic

This two-and-a-half hour program covers the basics of indoor climbing including equipment, bouldering, top rope climbing and belaying with an ATC and GriGri device. This program sets up an individual with no prior experience to take our belay test which is required when purchasing a climbing wall membership. Pre-registration IS REQUIRED. There is a 3-participant minimum to run this program.

Kent State University has partnered with Haymaker Farmers' Market to bring a farmers’ market to the Kent campus. The Kent State Farmers' Market provides students with opportunities to learn about the local farming community, select fresh produce and connect with the broader Kent community.

New Kent State University graduates from the Summer Class of 2022 celebrate together

The Kent State University alumni family will grow by more than 1,200 new graduates as the university holds its summer commencement ceremonies. The accomplishments of the Summer Class of 2022 will be recognized with in-person, outdoor commencement ceremonies and a virtual commencement ceremony on Aug. 20. All commencement ceremonies will be livestreamed at www.kent.edu/commencement.
