How do I register?
Registration for all Recreation and Wellness Services training is required through Fusion. All student employees will need to register to receive attendance credit. Examples include monthly in – services, Full Staff Training, Student Leader Cohort Training.

What is the RecWell+ Student Employee Professional Development Funding Program?
- Recreation and Wellness Services is committed to the development of our employees. We want you to continue to learn and grow while you are a member of our team (and beyond). One of these ways is through professional development opportunities.
- To promote continued learning, we have developed a RecWell+ Student Professional Development fund program. RecWell student employees are eligible to receive professional development funding (7/1 – 6/30) towards continued education. Each area will have an allotment of funding for student employees to take advantage of (while funds last).
What is the RecWell+ Coffee and Conversations Mentorship Program?
The program is a mentorship program designed for Recreation and Wellness Services employees throughout the academic year. This program aims to build and support relationships with their coworkers and practice being a mentor and mentee in a casual setting outside of work on Kent State University’s campus.

What are the training requirements of RecWell+?
All RecWell student employees are required to attend four hours of additional training each academic year. This will be incorporated into monthly in – services and semesterly Full Staff Training.
Student leaders (as designated by one’s primary supervisor) are required to attend nine additional hours of additional trainings each academic year called Student Leader Cohort Training.
