- the process they utilized to take their inspiration to innovation
- the challenges they overcame; and
- how they persevered and brought their innovation idea to fruition!
Keynote Speaker:
Ron Mallet
Our dynamic keynote speaker, Professor Ron Mallet, will lay the groundwork for our discussion, sharing the inspiring story that led to his lifelong research passion, his persistence, and his successes in transcending his challenges. Dr. Mallet, one of only a few African-American PhDs in theoretical physics, is a faculty member at the University of Connecticut.
Expert Panel
Linking Dr. Mallet's work to innovations in the field of healthcare will be a panel of experts who will share their journey from inspiration to innovation. Poster and paper presentations will round out the day. CEs will be offered for this exciting and informative event.
