Sim Lab

The Olga A. Mural Nursing Simulation Laboratory was designed to emulate the settings and situations that are encountered in realistic practice situations. Patient conditions and responses can be simulated to challenge the learner to practice competencies and critically analyze results.

The laboratory and technology provides a new dimension which enables faculty to create clinical education that is tailored to health care needs, therefore improving nursing care and patient safety. This state-of-the-art and science technology in nursing education is another example of Excellence in Action here at Kent State University.

The nursing simulation laboratory at Kent State University’s College of Nursing was made possible by a generous gift from Olga A. Mural.
