Kent State at East Liverpool Nursing Students Volunteer
Posted Sep. 13, 2010Nursing students from the Kent State East Liverpool took more than 500 blood pressures in four hours while participating at the Ohio Nurses Association Blood Pressure Screening Booth located at the Canfield Fair. This is the third year the associate degree in nursing students have assisted the association. Instructor Angela Douglass, who is a committee member of the Ohio Nurses Association, organized the event. Dr. Anne Freitas along with instructor Deb Hager helped the campus’ nine students who came to give the screenings.
