Oct. 28th, 8:30 am – 11:30 am - Introduction to Succession Planning and How Much is My Company Worth? The Basics of Valuation - John Cournan, Packer Thomas and Peter Woodlock, Youngstown State University - This session will provide a framework from which to start the process of exiting your business, as well as the how, why, and what of valuing your company.
Nov. 12th, 8:30 am – 11:30 am – Selling your Business to Family, Key Employees, and/or All Employees and Selling Your Business to Outside Buyers - John Saganich, Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease – This session will provide a basic understanding of the ins and outs of selling your business, whether it be to family, employees or outside buyers. The session will include best practices and pitfalls to avoid for each of the options.
Both sessions will be held at the YSU Metro Campus, Southwoods Commons, 100 DeBartolo Drive, Suite 200 Boardman, OH 44512, and will include breakfast. Breakfast and registration will be from 8:00-8:30 am, with the presentations starting at 8:30 am. Cost is $50 per session ($30 for Co-sponsor organizations’ members) or $90 for both sessions ($50 for Co-sponsor organizations’ members).

Nov. 6th, 8 am – 11 am - Introduction to Succession Planning and How Much is My Company Worth? Both sessions will be held at the Akron Fairlawn Hilton at 3180 W. Market Street in Fairlawn, across from Summit Mall, and will include breakfast. Breakfast and registration will start at 7:30 am, with the presentations starting at 8 am. Cost is $60 per session ($40 for Greater Akron Chamber members) or $100 for both sessions ($70 for Greater Akron Chamber members).
