Basic Software Requirements
The following list of software is required for all online instructors and course builders:
- For PC machines, Windows 7 operating system; for Macs, OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard or 10.7 Lion
- Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Web browser: Safari (latest version), Chrome (latest version), Firefox 3.6
- Adobe Flash Player (latest version)
- Java for Windows (install KSU version ONLY); Java for Mac OS updates are downloaded via software update
- Adobe Acrobat Reader (latest version)
- Microsoft Security Essentials for Windows
- McAfee VirusScan for Mac
- iTunes (optional, will install Quicktime to view .mov files)
