Many Access Points
Kent State’s Regional Campus network spans Northeast Ohio and includes campuses in Ashtabula, Burton, East Liverpool, New Philadelphia, North Canton, Salem and Warren. The mission of the Regional Campus network is to make the resources of Kent State University accessible to Northeast Ohio. The Regional Campuses deliver a wide variety of academic programs and area-specific technical education and training to the communities they serve. They also provide programs and services that enhance business and employment opportunities in the region.
Many students at Regional Campuses are nontraditional: people returning to the classroom after raising a family; manufacturing and business workers in need of retraining to adapt to our changing economy; bright, motivated young students earning college credit while still in high school. For the traditional student, the Regional Campuses offer technical associate degrees, the freshman and sophomore years of course work leading to bachelor’s degrees in 272 programs of study and selected upper-division and graduate-level courses.
Enrollment at the seven Regional Campuses is approximately 12,000 students (concurrent headcount).
