When is Parents and Families Weekend 2023?
Parents and Families Weekend 2023 will be held Sept. 29-30. This is a great time to visit and experience all the campus offers. Several engaging family-friendly programs are planned for the weekend so you and your family can enjoy the campus, create memories, and experience the pride and tradition of Kent State football.

What do I need for entry into Parents and Families Weekend events?
You will be provided with a lanyard to wear at check-in and are required to wear it at each event (i.e., Tailgate, Blue and Gold Paint and Sip, game). Wristbands will be provided at Check-In.
When should we plan to arrive? Do parents stay for the entire weekend?
Families are encouraged to arrive on Friday by no later than 5:00 pm to enjoy the many campus events planned. Events are scheduled for Friday and Saturday so plan to stay for the entire weekend if you can!
Where should I stay?
When and where is on-site check-in?
Check-in will be held on the 1st Floor lobby of the Kent Student Center from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 29. Check-in on Saturday, Sept. 30 will take place during the Legacy Tailgate to be held at Dix Stadium. Check-in time will be determined once the start time of the game is announced.
Where is the Legacy Tailgate going to be held?
The Legacy Tailgate will be held at Dix Stadium, located at 2213 Summit Road.
