Kwanzaa Community Celebration: Embracing Principles and Practice

The Center of Pan-African Culture will celebrate Kwanzaa Saturday, December 10, 2016 in room 250 Oscar Ritchie Hall.  This year marks the 50th year of Kwanzaa, it's principles and theory.  The celebration will start with a public viewing of The Black Candle: A Kwanzaa Celebration a talk back will follow the film.  Following the talk back we will hold a Kwanzaa ceremony afterwards there will be a community meal or Karamu.  For more information and to R.S.V.P. contact Dr. Asantewa Sunni-Ali, Director Center of Pan-African Culture phone:330-672-0157 email asunnial@kent.edu or you can RSVP by visiting our RSVP form.
