Have a ball cheering on the men’s and women’s Kent State basketball teams at this doubleheader, and make your own winning combination at the game day buffet from 2 – 4 p.m. The women will tip off against Western Michigan at 1 p.m., and the men will take on Central Michigan at 3:30 p.m.

Join us and the students that brought the Stark Campus May 4 exhibit to life. The evening begins with a reception, after which guests will attend an open panel and discussion, to learn more about the relationship between the events at Kent State on May 4, 1970, at Jackson State 11 days later, and the larger context of race, particularly in the 1960s, and the establishment of Black History Month. This panel discussion is presented by Dr. Chris Post, Dr. Leslie Heaphy, Dr. Amoaba Gooden, Professor Idris Syed, and Dr. Robert Hamilton, IV.

“Travel” the world through students’ eyes by interacting with student presenters who will demonstrate the ways in which their education abroad experience transformed their overall undergraduate experience. Thematically paired food stations will also be available, allowing guests to taste the flavors the students enjoyed during their studies abroad.
