Back to Kent State University Home Page | Campus Bus Service (CBS) is more than just a convenient way to stay warm and dry while getting from class to home to dinner on the Kent State University campus. It provides safe and reliable transportation, and has been doing that for the last 35 years on the Kent Campus and in the surrounding communities. As a part of Transportation Services, it employs about 200 people, mostly students, who carefully move more than 1.3 million riders each year on a fleet of 32 buses and vans. From Cleveland to Akron to Warren, and all around campus, CBS vehicles help Kent State students and employees attend to the business of their daily lives without worrying about transportation needs. The CBS story is not just about buses and equipment – it’s about the people who drive, wash and maintain a service to the Kent State community. |
