Doug McKinzie is a first-year Ph.D. student in Political Science.  He has a B.S. in Applied Economics from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Arizona State University.  Until recently he was a mid-level manager in the pharmaceutical industry serving as Business Unit Manager for Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky, and as a District Sales Manager in Cincinnati for Roche Laboratories, Inc.  As a petty officer in the U.S. Navy, Doug served in the Pacific Fleet with the squadron depicted in the movie "Top Gun."
