Welcome to the Kent State University chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the Political Science Honor Society which recognizes students for academic achievement in their field of study.

Members of our local campus chapter receive recognition for their achievements, as well as all of the benefits of membership in the National Honor Society.  Updates on activities and programs available via the National Society are available in the Pi Sigma Alpha newsletter.

Eligibility requirements for the Kent State University chapter include:

• Political Science or International Relations major or minor
• Junior class standing or above
• Accumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Political Science GPA of at least 3.2
• 12 hours of Political Science, 3 hours must be at 3000 level or higher and these hours must be completed before the semester in which the application is being made
• Recommendation of 2 faculty members, at least one must have taught the applicant
