Prof. Nelson Burns has been selected by The National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare to receive the Visionary Leadership Award for 2011. Prof. Burns is currently part-time faculty in the Department of Political Science and serves on the advisory board for the Kent State University Healthcare Executive MBA program. He will be among 13 individuals and organizations honored with the National Council Awards of Excellence on May 3 during the 41st National Council Conference in San Diego.
