Centennial Research Park

Centennial Research Park at Kent State University is an important asset in stimulating new high tech company formation and growth. This university-based park contributes to new product development and new company growth, especially in high-tech industries. The research park includes a 40,000 sf building surrounded by 10 acres for further development. Tenants to date have primary expertise in advanced materials/liquid crystals. Additional accelerator building space can be customized to accommodate early-stage technology companies.

Provides economic development services on behalf of Ashtabula, Columbiana, Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Richland, Stark, Summit, Trumbull and Wayne counties. Promotes international trade through the administration of Foreign-Trade Zone 181, improves market access through the initiatives of the Northeast Ohio Logistics Network and provides export counseling through the International Trade Assistance Center.
