As the current Executive Director for the Undergraduate Student Government, Amishâ€™s mission is to advocate and represent the undergraduate students of Kent State to the highest capacity. He has been actively working on a financial literacy programming, student care and affordability, and innovation in campus technologies.
Originally a Toledo native, Amish came in to Kent State in the fall of 2009. Soon after his first semester, he quickly got involved with the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and other campus organizations. Amish diversified his experience at Kent State by immersing himself within various campus departments and groups ranging the TRiO Upward Bound Program, Greek Life, professional/ academic organizations, university committees and more. He spent a considerable amount of his undergrad working with philanthropic causes and improving the quality of student-life on campus (enhance the KSU student experience).
Currently, Amish is a senior in Communication Studies with a concentration in Applied Communications with a minor in Media Literacy. On his spare time he enjoys biking (especially on campus), meeting new people, and painting. Amish is also very proud to be a two-year returning Apple Campus Representative for Kent State.
