Dana Brown
Dana Brown received his Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from Kent State University in 1986. His primary teachers were Margaret Baxtresser and Jerry Davidson. Professor Brown has had a variety of professional keyboard experiences including work as an orchestral keyboardist, recital accompanist and jazz pianist.
Mr. Brown began as a part-time faculty member at Kent State University in 1986 and also held a part-time faculty position at the University of Akron from 1989-1995.
Since 1999, Mr. Brown has served in the position of Coordinator of Undergraduate Studies in the Hugh A. Glauser School of Music and as the music scholarship administrator. In addition, he teaches piano classes and coordinates the piano class program.
