Frederick W. Schroath
Frederick Schroath became Associate Dean of Kent State's College of Business in 2008. Prior to becoming Associate Dean, Schroath served in various positions as Associate Dean of the Graduate School of Management, Associate Professor of Finance, and Director of the Executive MBA Program, among others. Schroath received his PhD from the University of South Carolina in International Business. Schroath has taught both graduate and undergraduate courses at Kent State. These include Global Strategic Management, International Business Management, Principles of Insurance, Financial Policy, Financial Risk Management, Business Risk Management, Life Insurance, and Personal Asset Management. Schroath's research has been published in The Journal of Insurance Issues, The Journal of International Business Studies, The Journal of Risk and Insurance and The Geneva Papers on Risk and Insurance, among others. Schroath has provided expert witness testimony related to insurance issues and cases in various states. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Phi Beta Delta.
