Dr. Ritter holds a Ph.D. in Educational Administration/Organizational Development and an Ed.S. in Higher Education Administration from Kent State University as well as an M.B.A. and B.S.B.A from Youngstown State University.

Dr. Ritter previously worked at Kent State University at Trumbull from 1991 - 2000 before returning in 2010. Dr. Ritter's background also includes positions with the Ohio Department of Education, Youngstown State University, and many years in private industry.
