Raquel Teare is an adjunct faculty member and staff accompanist in the Hugh A. Glauser School of Music at Kent State University where she has taught class piano since 1994. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance at Kent State University in 1992. She then obtained her Masters degree in piano performance from Bowling Green State University, as well as an M.Ed. in community counseling from KSU in 2000.
A much sought after accompanist and chamber musician, Raquel has performed throughout Northeast Ohio, as has often collaborated with duo-piano partner, Brent Schloneger. She resides with her family in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, where she and her husband, David give private piano instruction.
