Sharon Bell
Sharon Bell has research interests in literary translation, Caribbean literatures and folklore, and cultural analysis. Among other translations, she has translated "An Appeal to the Sovereigns" (Staël) for Kadish and Massardier-Kenney's Translating Slavery as well as J.S. Alexis' Romancero aux Éoiles. She is currently working on a cultural analysis of Haitian folk tales. Dr. Bell teaches a variety of undergraduate translation courses, as well as scientific and technical translation at the graduate level.
