Responsibilities of the Office of Academic Personnel

  • Maintain official faculty records
  • Approve and data enter faculty Personnel Action Forms for payment; approve and upload epafs (electronic personnel action forms)
  • Data enter requests for faculty leave (sick leave, vacation, leave without compensation, military leave)
  • Data enter graduate student appointments (graduate assistants, teaching fellows, research assistants); approve and upload ePAFs
  • Data enter tuition waivers for graduate appointments
  • Act as a resource for university policies and procedures regarding faculty
  • Verify faculty employment to outside vendors (lending institutions, etc.)
  • Prepare faculty personnel action report for Board of Trustees
