Responsibilities of the Office of Academic Personnel
- Maintain official faculty records
- Approve and data enter faculty Personnel Action Forms for payment; approve and upload epafs (electronic personnel action forms)
- Data enter requests for faculty leave (sick leave, vacation, leave without compensation, military leave)
- Data enter graduate student appointments (graduate assistants, teaching fellows, research assistants); approve and upload ePAFs
- Data enter tuition waivers for graduate appointments
- Act as a resource for university policies and procedures regarding faculty
- Verify faculty employment to outside vendors (lending institutions, etc.)
- Prepare faculty personnel action report for Board of Trustees
