Lifeguarding (242002)

The course prepares participants to respond to emergencies and prevent drowning and injuries. Upon successful completion, participants will be certified in Lifeguarding, FA/CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, Oxygen Administration and Preventing Disease Transmission.

This course helps participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies by teaching skills that participants need to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.

About Our Programs:

All aquatics certifications are taught by American Red Cross-certified instructors. Please note that participation in a certification class does not guarantee certification. All skills related to the certification must be properly demonstrated (as defined by course outline) in order to receive certification.
