Bringing Guests

Day Passes
A day pass is available for guests visiting our facility on a one-time basis. Guests of current members pay a discounted fee when purchasing a guest pass. Guests four and under are free. Members with a semester or annual membership are eligible to bring a guest to the SRWC free-of-charge once per semester. To take advantage of this offer, bring your guest to the Pro Shop with their photo ID.
Member: $5
Nonmember: $10

10-punch Pass
A 10-punch pass is available for frequent guests and is valid for 10 visits within one year from the date of purchase.
Fee: $80

Locker Rentals

Rental Lockers
Rental lockers (including ADA accessible at half price) are available and also include complimentary towel service. Please stop in the Pro Shop or call 330-672-2553 for details.
Student: $100 (Academic Year), $145 (Annual)
Member: $145 (Annual)

Day-use Lockers
Free day-use lockers are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Members may provide their own lock or purchase one in the Pro Shop. It is strongly recommended that members lock these lockers. Recreational Services is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Locks must be removed before exiting. Locks left on overnight will be cut off and contents will be removed.

Cubicles
Cubicles are located throughout the facility for those who prefer to keep belongings within reach. Please do not leave belongings on the floor in any area of the SRWC.

Towel Service

Towel service is available to all members. With it, you may receive up to two bath towels and one personal towel per visit. If you need a new towel, turn in the used towel and you will be given a fresh one. Towels are checked out using your membership card at the equipment issue desk. Please stop by the Pro Shop to purchase.

Parking

Parking is available during the week by permit only. Parking Services does not ticket on the weekends, starting on Friday at 4 p.m. Permits are the responsibility of the participant and are only included in the cost of community memberships. Faculty/staff memberships do not include parking. A permit for your spouse/partner can be purchased in the Pro Shop.

Parking Services patrols the parking lot regularly and Recreational Services has no authority over the issuance of tickets. For additional details about parking permits, please call Parking Services at 330-672-4432.

Parking Permits
Members may choose to purchase a monthly “REC†permit for $11 or an annual permit for $121. Either one can be purchased at the Pro Shop. “REC†permits are not available to students or faculty/staff.

Hourly Parking
Three-hour tickets are available for $1 from the self-service dispenser located in the center section of the parking lot. There are also four metered spaces that charge $0.25 for each half-hour.

Equipment Issue

Recreational equipment is available to borrow at the equipment issue desk, located on the lower level of the SRWC. Any member may borrow equipment by presenting their membership card. Damaged or unreturned equipment will be billed to the member.

• Indoor and outdoor volleyballs
• Indoor soccer balls
• Jump ropes
• Medicine balls
• Neck brace
• Ping-pong paddles (balls are available from machine for $0.50)

• Safety goggles
• Step bench
• Stop watch

Membership Freezes

Memberships can be frozen because of extended travel or medical conditions. Written documentation is required. Pending approval, your membership length will be extended. Freeze request forms are available in the Pro Shop.

Membership Cancellations

Paid-in-full memberships are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Auto-debit memberships, which continue indefinitely, may be cancelled after one year with no penalties. Please provide at least 30 days notice. Penalties apply when an auto-debit membership is cancelled before one year of membership. When purchasing an auto-debit membership, you are committing to a one-year contract. This contract entitles you to a discounted membership rate every month throughout the year. By breaking your contract, you are also waiving your right to the discounted rate.

If you are considering cancelling your auto-debit membership before the minimum one-year agreement, please use the following formula to evaluate the actual cost of your membership:

Monthly rate of your category (not the auto-debit monthly rate) x Number of active months
+ $11 Parking pass x Number of active months
+ $20 Processing fee
- Amount you have already paid this year
= Remaining balance (compare this to the cost of remaining active through the contract date)
