What are intramural sports?
Intramural sports are recreational sports, programs, and/or activities in which participants compete as teams or as individuals against other Kent State University intramural teams or individuals. Intramural sports are designed to be recreational in nature.
How do I get involved?
Getting involved is easy as 1 - 2 - 3
1. Registration Form: Complete the appropriate registration form (Team Registration Form for teams or the Individual Registration Form for individual sports) and turn it in to the Pro Shop staff in the Student Recreation and Wellness Center (SRWC) prior to the registration deadline.
2. Pay: Pay the appropriate team or individual registration fee prior to the registration deadline.
3. IMLeagues: Prior to the registration deadline create an IMLeagues.com account to create your team in the same sport and section that you registered for in the Pro Shop. Begin managing your team roster by inviting your players or accepting their request to join the team by the day before your first game.
Who can play?
Kent State University students, faculty, staff, and their spouses. To participate in intramural sports individuals must have a membership to the Student Recreation and Wellness Center or purchase a daily guest pass each time they enter the facility.
What is IMLeagues.com?
All intramural sports participants must have or create an IMLeagues.com account. www.imleagues.com is where team captains will create teams and where players will join their team's roster. Sport schedules, game results, standings, playoff brackets, and more are posted and available for those with KSU accounts. Remember to sign up now so that you can easily get involved and be informed about intramural sports. (Refer to the IMLeagues.com instructions that are available in the important documents tab for more information on how to sign up.)
