The Department of Recreational Services at Kent State University is excited to offer weekly themed camps for its 13th consecutive year. PEAK Summer Camps are designed for children
6 -12 years of age. At PEAK we strive to help each camper become more independent, enhance self-confidence, develop self-awareness and develop both mind and body in a fun and safe learning environment.

The camp operates from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with before and after care options available starting at 7:30 a.m. and ending at 5:30 p.m. Each session is facilitated by highly motivated and energetic students and professionals. All camp counselors are trained in American Red Cross First Aid, CPR, AED and are certified Professional Rescuers. Activities change each week based on the theme; there is also swimming every day. Lunch, snacks and a T-shirt are provided.

A Camp Enrollment Form and all additional forms are required for every child who registers for PEAK Summer Camp, even if the child has participated in the PEAK programs before.

The Camp Enrollment Form is due at the time of registration, and while all additional forms are due by the Wednesday before the start of selected weeks, it is requested that all of the forms be turned in at the time of registration.
