Schedule Adjustments

  • Students must register and make payment of fees by published deadlines prior to attending classes. Students who are not officially registered for a course by published university deadlines should not be attending classes and will not receive credit or a grade for the course.
  • Schedule Adjustment is a change to a class schedule for students who have already enrolled in at least one course for that term (one or more credit hours) and is permitted on a space-available basis using FlashFAST. Log into FlashLine, then click on the Student Tools and Courses tab to access links to process your registration transaction.
  • Registration holds must be cleared prior to processing your registration transaction.
  • In addition to the schedule adjustments during registration periods, the following schedule adjustments may be permitted during the first two weeks of the semester for fall and spring semesters. Refer to the summer calendar for summer deadlines.
    1. Adding a course/section
    2. Dropping a course/section
    3. Changing a section (same course, different time or credit hours)
    4. Changing from graded to pass/fail or audit status.
    5. Changing from pass/fail or audit to graded status.

  • Click here to access the Registrar Important Dates and Events by Term for registration/schedule adjustment deadlines and information.

NOTE: If class beginning and/or ending dates are other than the regular session dates for the full term, deadlines may be different than noted above. For these flexibly scheduled classes, access the Detailed Class Search from the Schedule of Classes Search. After locating the course, click on the "Registration Deadlines" link to determine course specific dates.  Information is also available by clicking on the CRN links on your Student Printable Schedule, accessible from your Student Tools and Courses page in FlashLine.
  • No late registration fee is assessed.  Please note not all registration activity may result in a bill being generated prior to a due date. Students can view their student account information through their FlashLine account. Access the Bursar's Office website (See Quick Links) for tuition payment deadlines, payment information, and any additional late charges that may be assessed. Any applicable refund will be determined by the date the transaction is processed on the registration system. Please visit the Bursar's Office website for refund information.
  • Petition for Exception to Registration Form
Students will use the Petition for Exception to Registration Form (click link above to print pdf form) when requesting registration/schedule adjustment transactions to their class schedule after published University deadlines for the class(es).
