The College of Arts & Sciences has established a research support function within the College office. Cathy Lowe, who previously worked in the Center for Materials Informatics, is a Grants Administrator who will now assist faculty across the College with external funding proposals. Ms. Lowe has experience with federal and corporate funding agencies, is familiar with both COEUS and Fastlane (NSF), and various reporting activities. While the responsibility for preparing proposals and managing projects resides with Principal Investigator, the College will assist with sponsored programs paperwork, review budgets, assist with agency or foundation forms, and provide general assistance.   

The College activities do not replace those services provided by Research and Sponsored Programs; instead, these services are intended to provide additional support to A&S faculty. Cathy Lowe may be reached at clowe@kent.edu or 330-672-0319.
