Prof. Ye Zhao Receives Google Faculty Research Award
Posted Feb. 3, 2012Prof. Ye Zhao has recently received a Google Faculty Research Award. The proposed research aims to address a challenging topic in high dimensional data visualization: Visualizing evolving data sets with lots of categorical values mixed with unstructured data, such as bank transaction records with comments in them. This project will use document visualization techniques to visualize multidimensional data. It is a collaborative work with researchers at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, and supported by Google Faculty Research Reward.
