Dr. Erin Haynes, Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati recently visited Kent State University at East Liverpool to present the results of a pilot study held last year. The study focused on manganese residues found in East Liverpool area children. Kent State Professor, Dr. Roxanne Burns played an integral part in ensuring the study was a success. Dr. Burns and Dr. Haynes are planning to build upon the information they collected by developing a follow up study in the near future. All interested persons can view the results of the study on the third floor in the main classroom building at the East Liverpool Campus.
