The A&S Research Directory has two components:
Both components recognize accomplishments of awardees and make information about active research projects more accessible so that potential collaborators can be more easily identified.
The Grant Consultation Directory also serves as a resource for prospective grantees seeking advice on a project. Each faculty member listed will determine the extent of informal mentoring to be provided based on factors such as available time and intellectual property issues as well as relevance of the proposal to current interests. Please contact Cathy Lowe (clowe@kent.edu) if you are a recent awardee and would like your name to be added to the Grant Consultation Directory.
Along with other efforts such as the A&S Research Incentive Program, the A&S Research Directory is intended to help to increase both the number and success rates of grant applications as part of the university strategic plan to place Kent State among the community of nationally prominent large public research universities.
