Flexible Aqueous Soluble Conductive Polymer Compositions

KSU .369

Abstract: In an ever-evolving world of displays and technology, new conductive materials and coatings are needed for different purposes and demands; therefore, cheap, durable, peel-able and flexible are appealing features to have in a single substance. Preliminary results show that we have made possible all these characteristics in a high conductivity polymer coating that can be peeled off the substrate it was polymerized on for easy manipulation, and used as an electrode sheet with large flexibility.  This attribute is missing in the current market of conductive polymers. This coating has the potential to be used in a vast number of applications, such as flexible displays, organic LED, antistatic coating of glass and polymer, etc.

Applications:

  •          Highly conductive coating
  •          Antistatic coating for glass and polymer
  •          Organic and polymer emitting diode (OLED and PLED)
  •          Organic transistors
  •          Electronic courses teaching aids
  •          Medical electrodes

Advantages:

  •          Peel- ability
  •          Flexibility
  •          Scratch resistance
