Class Project Parameters
Minimal Risk/Class Projects
Minimal Risk is defined as - the probability and magnitude of harm or discomfort anticipated in the research are not greater in and of themselves than those ordinarily encountered in daily life or during the performance of routine physical or psychological examinations or tests (Code of Federal Regulations 45 46).
Minimal Risk/Class Projects:
- Minimal Risk/Class Projects Forms for Faculty (to be completed by faculty only)
- Minimal Risk/Class Projects Forms for Students (to be completed by students only)
- Consent form template (for Minimal Risk/Class Projects) Signed or documented consent is required unless you are conducting an anonymous survey. In this case it is permissible to not obtain 'documented' consent, however you must ensure that there is a consent statement that describes what the project is about, who is conducting it, why it is being conducted, what the data is used for, and if identifiable information will be collected.
