Kent State provides valuable resources for researchers, including the Sponsored Programs Office, which helps faculty and staff secure external funding to support their research and instructional and public service projects; the Office of Research Safety and Compliance, to assist in identifying and managing biological, chemical and radiological hazards, and provide information on the use of human subjects and animals; and the Office of Technology Transfer and Economic Development, which serves as a resource for those wishing to collaborate with Kent State by providing an entry point for corporations seeking new Kent State inventions or collaborations with Kent State investigators, and education, resources and assistance to Kent State University's faculty, staff and students in all matters related to identifying and protecting intellectual property.
