The School's administrative and faculty offices, classrooms and research facilities are located in the University Library on the Kent Campus (Kent, Ohio), located in Northeast Ohio. Communities in central and southern Ohio are served by the School's offices and classrooms located in the state capital, Columbus, at the State Library of Ohio.
All courses offered in the School are available online, but some of the core Master of Library and Information Science (M.L.I.S.) courses, as well as select M.L.I.S. workshops, are also available periodically as face-to-face options in Kent and Columbus. The Ph.D. in Communication and Information, which allows a focus in various library and information science disciplines, is available only as a residential program at the Kent Campus.
