REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED FOR THE KUPITA/TRANSICIONES 2012 PROGRAM
Kupita/Transiciones is a three-day orientation program for newly admitted students of color. The program is designed to help students successfully navigate their transition to Kent State through culturally relevant academic workshops and activities.
During the program, first year students will have an opportunity to meet multicultural faculty, staff and upper class students; learn about academic programs and multicultural student organizations; and meet other members of their graduating class. Numerous freshman students begin their academic year by participating in the program and have found it to be a worthwhile experience compared to no other.
The 2012 Kupita/Transiciones program will be held August 20-22, 2012. Participation in the program is free and voluntary. In addition, students participating in the program will have an opportunity to move-in early on August 20. Registration for the program is limited to 200 students, so register early!
Please contact the Student Multicultural Center at 330-672-8563 if you have any questions.
