Survey Research Laboratory
Survey Research Laboratory
The Department of Sociology created the Survey Research Laboratory (SRL) in 1999 to serve the needs of both university and non-university groups for high quality and cost efficient computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI).
The SRL and the projects it conducts are directed and managed by the Survey Research Committee which includes three Department of Sociology faculty members and a full-time Projector Manager. The SRL employs a staff of highly trained telephone interviews, all of whom are either undergraduate or graduate students at the university.
