Thank you for your interest in the sociology program at Kent State University. Our comprehensive program studies social life, the causes of human behavior and its consequences. With the recent integration of the Justice Studies department, the Sociology department researches and teaches on an even wider variety of interesting issues: from mental health and emotions patterns to inequality by race, class or gender and crime and delinquency to corrections and law.
For more information, please visit the Undergraduate Program and Graduate Program areas of our Web site. If you are interested in career descriptions, see What Can I Do With My Degree? for Justice Studies, Paralegal Studies and Sociology.
