Jessica Burke is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Sociology. Her research and teaching interests include social psychology, sociology of mental health, race and ethnicity, family, and research methods. Her dissertation examines the association between interracial relationships and mental health outcomes using a stress process approach. Currently, Jessica is the Manager and Coordinator of the Survey Research Lab (SRL) in the Department of Sociology. She is directly involved in data collection, survey design, interviewer training, and oversees lab production and quality control of the SRL’s data collection efforts. Jessica expects to graduate with her PhD in August 2013.
