Jackuelyn Towne-Roese is currently a second year M.A student in the Department of Sociology working on her thesis. Her thesis is a qualitative analysis looking at Welfare-to-Work program managers and the ways in which they define self-sufficiency using a social-psychological perspective. Her areas of interest include Social Psychology, Gender, Class and Qualitative Methods. She earned her B.A. in Sociology from Kent State University in 2010. In her spare time she enjoys reading fiction, watching classic horror films, and working with children.
