Celebrate the World with Kent State University at Stark!

Kent State University at Stark presents Global Gateway Day, a family-friendly afternoon filled with cultural performances, international food sampling, global games and activities for all ages. This event is free and open to the public.

Activities include:

  • International Food Sampling: Among the more than ten regions to offer authentic food samples are Mediterranean, European, South American, Indian, Asian and African.
  • Live Cultural Performances: Attendees can experience performances by a Ukrainian singer/songwriter, a Chinese traditional vocalist, Nepalese dancers and an African drum and dance tribe. 
  • Games and Activities: Families can participate in an Origami station, make-your-own rain stick, view the study abroad photo gallery and enjoy the World Landmark photobooth.
