Kent State Stark Welcomes Students for Fall 2016

Welcome to Fall 2016!

Kent State University at Stark welcomes students to campus for Fall 2016. Recently, Dr. Beverly Warren remarked, "A college campus is at its best when all of our faculty, staff and students are here and in action," and we couldn't agree more.

If you need assistance finding a classroom or directions to the Bookstore, seek out one of our Welcome Team members who will be stationed around campus to help direct you and answer your questions.

Advising Services will be seeing students on a walk-in basis on Monday and Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. in the Office of Student Services, 132 Main Hall. Stop by if you need to make an adjustment to your schedule or ask a question.

Arrive early! Give yourself extra time to find parking during the first couple weeks of classes. Our neighbors, Stark State College, are also starting classes on Monday, Aug. 29 so parking will be at a premium for the first few days. Parking hang tags were mailed to students the week of August 22. Parking is free at Kent State Stark, but you must visibly display your parking hang tag. If you haven't received your tag, stop by Parking Services in 131 Main Hall.

Need help? The Office of Student Services (132 Main Hall) or Academic Success Center (Campus Center lower level) is your first stop for all your student needs. We're here to make sure your semester is off to a good start.

From everyone at Kent State Stark, we wish you a great fall semester!
