The following is a description of the terminology used to determine the way a room is set for conference and meeting use. Not all sets are able to be used in all rooms. To determine if a specific room can be set to your needs, please refer to the Student Center Facilites chart or contact the University Scheduling Office for assistance.

Auditorium Style

Classroom Style

18" wide tables with seating for two to three people
on one side of each table facing the front of the room.




Round Tables and Chairs

Round tables with chairs placed around the tables
(maximum number of chairs around each table is 8, however
6 is highly recommended for meals and meetings to ensure
participant comfort).







E-Shaped Tables and Chairs

Tables set in an "e" shape with chairs.


U-Shaped Tables and Chairs

Tables set in a "u" shape with chairs set on the inside and outside of the "u".


Conference Style Tables and Chairs
