Nutrition Outreach Lessons **: Every Other Thursday 5:00 – 7:00 pm
- Currently Twice a month – Nutrition Education lessons at food pantries (KSS and COH)

- 30 minutes of Cooking demonstration

Y – Bridge (Akron) Meal Creation | Distribution
- Assemble Meals in Beall Hall on Thursday’s @ 5
- 1 hour of preparing
- Help Create meals Thursday’s 5:00 - 6:00 pm
- Help Distribute meals under Y-bridge Friday’s from 4:45 - 7 pm

Weekly presence at Farmers' Market: Saturday's 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
- Sample local vendor’s foods and plug farmers

- Nutrition Education can be implemented here too!

- Past examples are BMI calculations, Nutrition Fact Labels of samples, and easy exercising routines
- Builds community with the farmers
- Building this relationship allows for maximum food recovery!!
Cooking Shifts: Campus Kitchen, Wednesday’s 2:00 - 5:00 pm
Food Recovery: On Campus Shifts - Monday/Tuesday’s 12:00 - 3:00 pm (your choice!)
- Students go to a variety of places at designated times to pick up unused food

- Cafeterias
- Food should be brought to the 2nd floor of Beall Hall between 12-4 pm
**About the Lessons:
- Every other Thursday at either Center of Hope or Kent Social Services depending on the day
- Each month we have new topics, cooking lessons, and open discussions about overall nutrition
- Every Saturday, join us at the Haymaker Farmers' Market as we use local produce in nutritious and interesting ways
