Cleveland Urban Plunge
Join us as we explore homelessness, hunger, and the impact of neighborhood gentrification in one of Cleveland's neighborhoods. The cost of the trip is $25. To register, please return the attached Hold Harmless, Medical forms, and check or money order payment to Kent State University - Urban Plunge to Room 203 Moulton Hall by 5:00 pm on the date listed below. Registration is based on first come first serve and spaces fill up fast so make sure you register as soon as you can. Appalachian Service Trips
Join us for a weekend serving in Appalachia. Volunteers will be part of an educational and social analysis program on the Appalachian region and focus on social and environmental justice issues. Videos, discussions, guest speakers, and tours will introduce volunteers to the community and help volunteers immerse themselves into Appalachian culture. A trip to a Mountain Top Removal Site is planned.The cost of the trip is $100. Registration is based on a first come first serve and spaces fill up fast so make sure you register as soon as you can.
