Student Resources

As a student at Kent State University, you have important personal and community responsibilities.

Understanding your obligations is critical to your success as an individual student and to the overall success of Kent State.

Student resources are available to you in the following offices and services.

  • Bookstore
    The Kent State University bookstore offers official logo merchandise, software and online ordering.
  • Career Services Center
    The center supports students and alumni in achieving their academic and career goals by providing career employment and education services, as well as student employment and academic testing services.
  • Code of Conduct
    As members of the Kent State University community, students are expected to demonstrate responsible conduct. The Code of Student Conduct translates these expectations into specific policies and describes the process through which claims of violations are resolved.
  • FLASHcard
    The FLASHcard is your Kent State University ID card and more. Your card will let you take materials out of the library, access services such as the Rec Center and athletic events, and purchase food on and off campus.
  • Kent Student Center
    Presents links to information about facilities located within the Student Center and offers information on upcoming events.
  • Student Accessibility Services
    Provides assistance to students with varying degrees and types of disabilities in order to maximize educational opportunity and academic potential.
  • Student Ombuds
    The Office of the Student Ombuds acts as an advocate for students and strives to develop a "fair and equitable university community."
  • Women’s Resource Center
    Kent State University Women's Resource Center exists to facilitate the advancement of and to enhance the quality of educational experience and professional life for women students, faculty and staff of all campuses.
